They like to say “shit flows downstream” or some such, but it has been my experience that when there is a blockage, it all backs up at once to the guy at the top to deal with.

At the beginning of this year I decided I was finally sick to death of dealing with turds and cleaned house. I got rid of the people that were getting me down and making me regret my career choice. Now I’m woefully understaffed (for the time being) , but much more at peace. I plan to become incredibly selective and careful when I start hiring again. My ability to run this whole thing and enjoy life  depends on it.
